Battle Royale, known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, is going to be free on January 12th. The campaign has been talked about for some time, and Krafton’s author confirms in Game Awards 2021 that PUBG: Battlegrounds is really going to be free in January.
Krafton also provided quick information about PUBG at the time of the announcement, as players have spent more than 14 billion hours on PUBG since it was launched five years ago.
When the free version of PUBG: Battlegrounds hits the market, Krafton will also introduce Battlegrounds Plus, a value-added fundraiser that includes 1,300 G-coins, a 100% boost to the survival gaming experience, value proposition and access to standard features. There are matches and jewelry in the game.
For players who have already purchased a copy of PUBG: Battlegrounds, Battlegrounds Plus PUBG will be included in a special memory pack that they will receive for free. Today’s players also get Battle Resistance costumes and traditional symbols (suggesting that they date back to ancient times) and Shackle and Shanks pottery.
