Compared to other Need for Speed Games
Need for Speed Heat has some of the best cars in the franchise. You can use them to speed around the game’s open world, but you won’t get very far without upgrading them. You can even buy a high-powered, electric-hybrid car like the Koenigsegg Regera ’16 for a pretty penny. The car features a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which provides 1500 horsepower and a top speed of 255 mph. It is also the fastest car in the game.
Need for Speed Heat doesn’t offer a huge amount of customization. The game’s graphics and gameplay are similar to Need for Speed Underground 2, but there are fewer cars to choose from. Even though the game offers a decent amount of customization, it doesn’t provide enough variety to keep it interesting.
NFS Heat also features poorly-tuned cop chases, and it doesn’t provide any real challenge to the cop AI. This makes it difficult to make progress in the game, as the cop AI isn’t very smart and doesn’t provide much of a challenge. Despite these issues, the game has a very impressive campaign mode, which takes about 10 hours to complete.
Need for Speed Heat is also a good choice for players who want a bit of storyline and aren’t afraid to grind. Although it’s a tad bit boring at times, the campaign mode will keep you hooked.
