Creating a Crossbow in Survival Mode
Select the Crafting Option
To begin, arrange your crafting table so that you have a 3×3 crafting grid to work with.
Assemble the Crossbow Components
Crafting should be accessible from the menu bar, and it should consist of a 3×3 crafting grid, as seen in the image below. To construct a crossbow, arrange three sticks, two strings, one iron ingot, and one tripwire hook in a 3×3 crafting grid as shown.
When constructing a crossbow, the components must be assembled in the manner shown in the illustration below. In the first row, one stick should be placed in the first box, one iron ingot should be placed in the second box, and one stick should be placed in the third box.
In the second row, one string should be placed in the first box, one tripwire hook should be placed in the second box, and one string should be placed in the third box. In the third row, there should be one stick in the center box, which should be the last stick. This is the Minecraft crossbow crafting recipe that you may use to make one for yourself.
Once you have completed the crafting area with a suitable design, the crossbow will appear in the box to the right of the crafting area.
Transfer Crossbow to Inventory
Once you have completed the construction of a crossbow, you must add the new item to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have successfully constructed a crossbow in Minecraft!
