At some point, while playing, every Minecraft player has thought about the idea of constructing an underwater metropolis. A dome of glass, with fishes swimming above it. Well, all of this sounds like a science fiction movie. But these things are rarely constructed even in Minecraft.
The reason why is because, until recently, however, it was extremely difficult and dangerous to construct them. As you know the bottom of the ocean is dark and devoid of oxygen, and the frigid water hinders your ability to dig for blocks further down. It’s a pure hassle.
However recently something new was introduced by the Aquatic Update in Minecraft that has completely transformed the complete gaming experience.
What are Conduits?
Basically, Conduits provide an enormous amount of power.
“Conduit Power” is actually a term that is used to refer to a state of being in a certain area of effect. When conduit power is used underwater, it combines with the effects of water breathing, night vision, and haste status effects. As a result, this makes a very useful combination of power when exploring.
While being in contact with water, Conduits also produce light and cause damage to neighboring hostile creatures. In short, conduits are perfect for constructing underwater wonders.
How to Make a Conduit in Minecraft?
Generally, a conduit is constructed by enclosing a Heart of the Sea with eight nautilus shells; it is extremely difficult to collect the necessary materials for this project. Shells can be collected through fishing, purchasing them from traders, or “acquiring” them from drowned people, but hearts of the sea can only be found in hidden treasure chests.
Once you have successfully obtained the conduit, you cannot simply place it on the ground and expect it to work normally. Of course, it needs to be turned on first.
But in order to accomplish this task, you will have to construct and activate the frame by using prismarine. The more you have completed the frame, the greater distance you can get with the conduit power effect. It would be able to travel more.
