How to Fix low FPS issues in Warzone Pacific Season 1

Users have recently complained about facing the low FPS issue which is all over the place in Call of Duty Warzone. This issue is specifically encountered by PC players of Call of Duty: Warzone. After the Season 6 update in the game, we have seen a huge number of different complaints concerning the game and its modes. Among these complaints the most common one is low FPS issues, and other such problems.

If you are facing the low FPS issue in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1 then you have come to the right place. We have mentioned a detailed guide in this post explaining all the possible fixes to get rid of the low FPS bug in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Other than that, even on high-end PCs featuring 4K resolution, a lot of gamers have complained about the game being fuzzy and sluggish due to low FPS.

All of these issues, as well as others, have a remedy. Without further ado, let’s get started.

How to fix the Low FPS Issue in Call of Duty: Warzone?

There are a few things you can try to resolve this vexing FPS issue. First and foremost, ensure that you are running Warzone on the appropriate settings for your PC. Ray Tracing, for example, is incredibly intensive and can significantly degrade performance.

One of the most common causes of frame drops is because Call of Duty Warzone fails to recognize how many cores your computer has. Below is a step-by-step guide to fix this issue. All you have to do is to follow these simple procedures to get the situation sorted out.

  1. Go to your PC’s “Documents” folder and launch Warzone.
  2. Locate and open the “Players” folder.
  3. Using notepad, open the “adv_options.ini” file.
  4. Change the “RenderWorkerCount” to match your cores.
  5. Change the value of “VideoMemoryScale” to .75.
  6. You will notice an increase in performance.

This should hopefully improve the performance of your game, but if it doesn’t, there is another simple workaround.

Twice press the “Esc” key

If the preceding method did not work, press the “Esc” key twice, which should solve the problem. While this may appear strange, it is caused by the game believing it is running in a minimized window, causing FPS stuttering.

The issue will be resolved by double-tapping the key, which will push the game into fullscreen mode.

NVIDIA DLSS should be enabled

You may enable NVIDIA’s DLSS feature if you have an NVIDIA graphics card, which improves performance significantly. This technology first appeared in Season 3 of Warzone and has been continuing strong ever since.

In layman’s terms, it reduces the game’s resolution while increasing the frame rate. The resolution, on the other hand, looks to be sharp, and gamers will notice no difference in quality.

Here is how you can enable NVIDIA DLSS for Call of Duty: Warzone

  1. Open Call of Duty Warzone and select Options from the menu.
  2. Select Graphics from the drop-down menu.
  3. Go to Post-Processing Effects and scroll down.
  4. Customize the NVIDIA DLSS according to your choice.

This technique should result in a substantial performance gain, and it will improve the performance of your GPU.

Activision may solve this issue in a future update, but for the time being, these are your best alternatives. In the comments area below, let us know if your FPS stopped stuttering or if you saw a performance boost.
