Genshin Impact Weapon Tier List 2023

In Genshin Impact, not all weapons are created equal. To offer you the finest insight, here is the definitive Genshin Impact weapon tier list.

When it comes to weapons in Genshin Impact, rarity is often a good indicator of their strength. Any weapon with a 5* rating is superior to one with a 4* rating. And if you have alternative choices, 3* weapons are usually not worth utilizing. That’s all there is to it.

Their major stat ATK value is one of the reasons behind this. The majority of abilities in the game are based on your ATK stat. Higher rarity weapons simply have greater ATK than lesser rarity weapons.

Furthermore, a character’s basic attack is determined only by the primary stat ATK from weapons and the intrinsic ATK from character levels.

Weapons and artifacts with ATK percent as the primary stat or substat only factor in the character’s basic attack. As a result, the higher the weapon’s ATK value, the more DMG you’ll earn from the percentage-based ATK boosts.

We still ranked all 3* weapons to assist novice F2P players in getting the most out of their first experience!

After all, amid the 3* crowd, there are a few standouts. Albedo’s best-in-slot weapon is the 3* Harbinger of Dawn Sword, which outperforms even 5* weapons. These are, however, exceptions rather than norms.

What Criteria Should You Use to Assess Weapons?

It’s also crucial to consider what stats your character needs while choosing a weapon. Elemental Mastery, ATK percent, DEF percent, HP percent, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, Elemental Recharge, and Physical DMG are all substats that all weapons have.

Unless you’re using the greatest weapon for your character, you should choose a weapon with a substance that fills in the gaps left by artifacts in your stats. Your character will be more well-rounded as a result of this.

Last but not least, each weapon has a passive effect. These passive effects may have a wide variety of consequences, from little to massive.

By feeding them identical things, you may boost the power of these effects by up to four times via refining.

This isn’t something you can do in the enhanced window! Weapons are leveled up in the enhanced window, while they are refined in the refined window.

Criteria for Ranking:

We took care to include flat ATK, substations, and passives while generating this weapon tier list, all of which will be presented.

At level 1, we’ll display the weapon’s ATK value.

Because all weapons employ the same multipliers when they level up, comparing their damage using figures that aren’t out of scale is simple.

We also considered how many characters could utilize each weapon effectively. If a weapon shines in the hands of one or two individuals but not in the hands of the rest of the characters who may wield it, it receives a lower rating.

In addition, if many weapons perform the same objective (for example, Energy Recharge for Supports), we attempt to give one of them a higher score than the others to differentiate the obvious standouts.

Finally, keep in mind that all weapons in a given tier are considered equally! You would think we ranked weapons relative to one another in a certain tier based on their location, but we didn’t. After all, each tier will have its own set of support and damage weapons, and there’s no way to compare the two in any meaningful way.

We built a distinct tier list for each weapon type to make things simple and understandable since it doesn’t matter how a Claymore compares to a Bow.

What is the location of F-Tier?

We didn’t include the F-Tier category in our character Tier List since we feel that with correct itemization, playstyle, and team composition, every character in this game can be turned decent (if not fantastic).

Characters like Amber and Xinyan are two of the most well-known instances of characters that are often dumped into the F-Tier like yesterday’s trash, but those who have committed time and money to improve them have done some incredible things with them.

As far as we can tell, no F-Tier characters appear in Genshin Impact.

Having said that, there are F-Tier weapons in this game. All 1* and 2* weapons are included.

Aside from their awful ATK, 1* and 2* weapons are devoid of any substats or passives. So, no matter how poor a 3* weapon is – and there are some very terrible weapons out there – it is still much superior to any 1* or 2* weapon. We wouldn’t be able to say anything since they don’t have any substats or passives, thus we’d have to repeat this speech ten times. So we put it all aside for the time being.

Conclusion

Because there aren’t enough resources to level up all of the weapons in Genshin Impact, this list will help you pick which ones to concentrate on.

But keep in mind that weapons aren’t the only factor to consider when it comes to character optimization. Artifacts are perhaps more important in this case.
